INTERMET Co., Ltd. operates on market since 20 years and is one of the most innovative companies in Poland. In Polish nationwide innovativeness ranking for 2008 was very high appraised.

In 2006 was started a production of innovative product - Systems of Engineering Barriers PROTECTOR.
PROTECTOR systems were designed and tested in cooperation with Military Institute of Technical Engineering in Wroclaw.

Prepared PROTECTOR applications are produced as static and mobile barriers and has a wide application in the objects and people protection, especially military objects( fuel and ammunition depots, field camps), military missions, civil objects (airports, industrial objects, penitentiary institutions and temporary in police intervention action).

For designing and production of PROTECTOR systems INTERMET Co.,Ltd. has certificates:
- Quality Management System certificate according to ISO 9001:2008,
- Safety Management System according to PN-N 18001:2007,
- Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001:2004,
- Quality Management System according to NATO AQAP 2110-2006 requirements,
- Internal Control System certificate.

Many of PROTECTOR systems are innovative solutions which were patented and haven’t been offered yet by other producers in the world.
It applies specially to electronic area protection systems which is the connection of mechanical (physical) barriers and intelligent electronic detection system.
