YRF series doubly-fed generator
Brief introduction of product: The doubly-fed generators also named AC excitation generators. It shares a similar structure with wound rotor induction motors. The three-phase stator windings are connected to industrial frequency power grid, and supply lower frequency AC excitation to rotor windings through static inverter to realize independent adjustment for powerful and power-absent working conditions as well as the rotate speed. Generators features in favorable stability and excellent phase corrective ability. The generators also possess functions of realizing constant frequency of stators when the rotate speed of the motor is changing, i.e. the power supply ability of variable speed constant frequency, which could be widely applied in actions of wind power supply and improve the stability of power system. At present, our first set of generators for testing have been finished production, all parameters reached the advanced international level.
Structure and features:
1. The generator is compliance with principles and standards of the wind power equipments.
2. The stator windings reinforced insulated with VPI process to guarantee the reliability.
3. The stator is manufactured with formed windings and the character of resist high frequency harmonic is suitable to the running type of the converter.
4. All parts of the generator are processed with necessary salt fog- proof, moisture-proof and fungus-proof and efficient aseismatic construction enable the generator to work in all climate condition and high upper air.
5. Insulated bearings and grounded brush are equipped to eliminate the effect of the shaft current.
6. Slip ring of long service life is adopted for easy installation and maintenance.
7. Monitoring components are adopted to inspect the temperature, creepage，vibration and the abrasion of the brush.
8. The generators of this series could be designed into the following three types required by customers: air-air cooled (IC411), TEFC(IC616) and water cooled(IC713W).
